These little sweetums were just precious!  Baby brother and sister were so comfy and snuggly at three weeks old.  I love playing with textures on certain images – this one was screaming “use a texture”  and I LOVE how it turned out:)  Of course beautiful babies as models are a BIG plus too!!!

This little fella is very near and dear to my heart!  His mama and him were two of my very first clients and I have been lucky enough to see their family grow both in age and in numbers!  Just this past year, they were blessed in welcoming their second baby boy into the family and I was there to witness their AMAZING home birth.  with their first bambino just recently celebrating his second birthday I wanted to take them on a trip down memory lane.  Thank you “S” family from the bottom of my heart!  Trey’s newborn session was SUCH a great experience and hands down, it gave me the confidence that I needed when I was thinking of turning this hobby of mine into a career!  Still some of my all time FAVES.

Okay people, this is why I love this girl!  She is fearless!  Now don’t go judging, this shot was a done as a gift to her hubby whom completely gets her style and humor.  When she pitched me this idea my jaw dropped as I gasped {under my breath of course}.  I was truly petrified at this shoot, not only because guns of any kind scare the bejeezus out of me but also I thought “how the heck am I gonna pull this off?”  Well I actually LOVE how this turned out for them… maybe not the maternity shot to try and sell the rest of my clients, but for them – I love it!  And for those of you that know this family – I am sure you got a kick out of it when it showed up on her facebook page:)  Way to rock those 5 inch heals mama!

A few short weeks later I was there for the home birth of baby #2.  I must admit, I was TERRIFIED {hopefully it didn’t show}  I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I am so glad I was there to experience a true miracle!  I was able to get there right in time.  When I left to go home I felt like I had drank about 60 red bulls – what an experience!  I can’t even begin to express the courage, love and determination of this entire family to make this happen ~ especially you mama!  whew!  I get butterflies again just thinking about it.

Then a few days later I returned to meet little “B” again for his newborn session.  What a handsome fella he was, and boy does he look like his big brother!

So of course it’s been ages since my last post and I keep telling myself, “self, this will be the week I start posting every week”.  I literally have DOZENS of sessions to post and sadly I was looking through my BIG file of photos I’d like to post, but haven’t quite gotten to yet, and just realized it’s been OVER ONE YEAR for a couple of them!!!!  WHAT?!?!?  That is unacceptable!  I’m fired!  And the really sad part is that I probably wouldn’t have even noticed it, but this past weekend I just took one of my newborn baby clients ONE YEAR photos.  Akkkkk!

Having said that, I have given myself 20 lashings and a few hail Mary’s for my sins and I am ready to get going on 1 of what will probably end up as a 3-4 part MONSTER blog post.  Now I would love to write about each of these sessions because they are all so different and fun and ALL of my clients have truly been DA BEST, but really you just want to see the pics right?  Well here goes…

Whew! Lot’s to blog… where -O- where do I start???

I have had the pleasure to work with so many FANTASTIC peeps lately… I have preggers, bebe’s, families & everything in between to share.  I even threw in a few of my gang for good measure!  Thank you ALL for being so wonderful, precious, patient, beautiful, funny, and fertile:)  Shhheesh, what was with all the babies this winter?  Keep em coming mamas!  I have soooo much more to share, the files are endless.  But this is a great start to the year huh?  Now… if I could only drag my floppy butt to the gym, we’d REALLY be on a roll huh?

It should be a outlawed to look like these HOT preggers, I looked like a Beluga Whale.

So it’s official ~ Bruce outweighed his big sis at the same age by a half a pound.  Six months and nearly 22lbs… that was 2 months ago! These are blackmailing months FO SHEEZY!  Um… and yeah, I just used that in a sentence for real!

So a couple months ago I asked my neighbor to bring over her A-dorable baby girl for a little impromtu baby photo extravaganza.   I am so glad too, because she was in a stage where she would love to play with her little tootsies.  I think this is one of the cutest things ever and NONE of my own kids ever really did this… maybe because they have been too chubby to reach their feet comfortably:)  Anyway, we had this made into a canvas and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.  And no, I did not color her eyes, that is how beautiful they really are!!!  And once again I have a new favorite!!!   I’m tempted to have this canvas on my wall too ~ would that be weird? ~ ha!  Thank you for such a gorgeous model… and the cookies, we had them polished off within minutes. No really, literally minutes:)  YUM!

so, this is the oober adorable baby boy of a good friend of mine that was born – uhhh – like two MONTHS ago!!!!  I know, and these are some of my all time faves, and I am just sick that I have been such a slacker on getting them posted.  Well without further adue, I would like to introduce a VERY handsome “M”

He was SUCH a good boy, he slept the day away:)  I hope he has been just as good for mama!
