A BIG happy birthday to yet another of my very first clients, little “M”. It is soooooo fun to see all these babies hitting the 1 year mark! “M” was an itty bitty  baby born about 6 weeks premature, but she is a champ and doing spectacular!  I could have bet my camera that she’d have been a blondie like mama, but nope… she turned out to be a burnette and a beauty too!

I just love this last one… she was sooooo tired!  She almost fell asleep there at the end, it was so cute.  Poor thing, she was probably actually asleep with her eyes open at one point.  Happy Birthday baby girl!!!

It was so great to see little “M” and of course her Mama and I can’t forget my new favorite assistant ~ her Grami:)  Gotta get her on my payroll~ she was awesome!  But then, I realized just how darn fast this past year has gone.  I have a 3 month old for crying out loud. No scratch that… he is closer to 4 months now (sniff, sniff).  He is growing like a weed and he will be one too before I can possibly imagine (Whaaaaaaa!)

This little sweetheart just does not know how NOT to smile:)  Little “S” is ONE year old already!!!  And just a doll… she was first seen on my blog a year ago with her newborn photos (some of my faves) and I have had the pleasure of taking her photos at 4 and 8 months as well and I tell you, this little birthday girl is ALL smiles!!!  Take a peek:

Happy 1st Birthday!!!

I mentioned I would be blogging some of the fun I had a few months back when I was in a pregnancy induced photographic frenzy… well here goes.  I met this little sweetheart nearly a year ago when she was still in mama’s tummy.  I have barely had time to blink my eyes and her first birthday is just around the corner!  And she has grown into quite the little cutie pie.  She was super smiley and just precious.  P.S.  Love the shoes mama!  If I knew I wouldn’t break my ankle, I would DEFINITELY partake in those heels. But for those of you that know me, you know I DEFINITELY break my ankle… maybe both of them… simultaneously!!!  Ha!

Holy smokes, my little guy is 6 WEEKS already???  I can’t believe this, where has time gone?  Oh yeah… I remember, on my couch feeding a baby:)  This little man might not look like it, but he can eat like a a banshee!  He is starting to smile a bit and it just melts my heart, take a peek.

Well I just wanted to give a little update on our happenings.  Along with hanging with my THREE sweeties, I will be dabbling in photography again soon:)  In the months before “B” was born I was a CRAZY pregnant photographer shooting multiple sessions per week and scrambling to get it all done before the bambino arrived.  Whew!  Well now that the dust is beginning to settle, I have a plethora of sessions to blog.  So over the next few weeks I will be blogging all those wonderful sessions that I shot before we hit the triple digits. And yes, I just used plethora in a sentence, and when I googled it to see if I spelled it right  - LOL! – I came across this video.  It just made me giggle, so I thought I’d share… LOVE this movie!

Meet  ”H”, I had a great time chasing him down during his 2 year session about a week ago.  Talk about devilishly handsome!  This little guy was super cute and I’m pretty sure he knows it:)

One of my sweet newborn clients is officially not a little baby anymore! Little “S” is 8 months old now and full of smiles:) She was just the sweetest thing and not even close to being camera shy… as you can see…

I love how her little hands and feet are have the chunk dimples!

And the surprised look is just precious. It was sooooo good to see you guys again and see how well baby “S” is doing! Your gallery will be coming soon.

Is this not just the cutest little gerber baby! Allow me to introduce “A” she was so happy to come to AZ and get out of the chilly Utah weather, and I’m so glad she did.

I don’t normally post the crying photos, but I just couldn’t help myself. Couldn’t you just die!

My little boy’s 2nd birthday was last week and I simply can’t believe it! Even with a new baby on the way, it’s so hard to believe that he’s not a tiny baby anymore, we’re talking potty training and everything – Eeeeek! Anyway, I got away for an hour alone with my boy and took his photos to commemorate the date…

He usually runs for cover at the sight of Big Bertha (the camera) but without big sis to look to for guidance, he had a different agenda that day:) Thanks buddy!

I love this devious little smile, as if to say…”I’m gonna do it, I’m gonna jump! you better come get me.” I also love how if I hadn’t changed the tone on this image to a more rustic color, his ear would have been glowing from the sunlight behind it. You really wouldn’t see him and say, WOW look at those ears, but with a fresh haircut and some backlighting they can really stand out:) I just want to squeeze him!

Happy birthday little man. I just love you to pieces!

Yeah birthday girl! It is always sooooo fun to catch up with clients that I have worked with in the past. This little doll was one of my first clients a couple years ago and though her daddy might have blocked this little tidbit out, he was one of my first potty victims-LOL! Sorry dads, it’s just inevitable. Anyway, she may look familiar to some of you, one of my all time favorite baby images is one of hers and it’s still on the splash page of my website. Here she is at about 4 weeks:

And look how stinkin’ adorable she is now!

Her little expressions were priceless and I’m soooo glad that I caught this one.

And I just loved the last few so much that I took my little stinker out to that very spot with that same little hat for some fun of our own:) I just couldn’t help myself!

…these two just make me laugh. We had a blast with this session! Mom and Dad might disagree, but the kids and I were on cloud 9. Their expressions alone could be worthy of an entire post, but I will add a bit of everything. Deep down I’ve always wished for twins, but then my sanity says “NOOOOOO” – But these guys make it hard not to to wish for two.
