Well I hope everyone has their gifts wrapped, cookies made and eggnog drank:) Over here, the dust is finally clearing as my holiday photography season comes to a close.  A big, fuzzy THANK YOU to all of my sweet, sweet  clients for making my season {and year} such a great one!  I haven’t had the kind of time I had hoped for to update this old blog, but I have a minute now, so I thought I’d show off some more of last years goodness.  Yes, I said last year ~ I’m afraid it’s become a bit of a habit to blog year old pics.  But I love them so much.  Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

So the season is in full swing, and yes, I still have pics from last year to blog.  I know, I know…  I SUCK!  Dear blog:  I WILL stop neglecting you, that will be my mantra for the day.  Take a lookie at some of last years cuteness!  And get ready for this year my peeps!

A HUGE thank you to all of my sweet families from last year for being so great!  I am off to my first mini session of the season today and I can’t wait to get started at this new location:)  Yipeeeee!  See you guys soon!

This little fella is very near and dear to my heart!  His mama and him were two of my very first clients and I have been lucky enough to see their family grow both in age and in numbers!  Just this past year, they were blessed in welcoming their second baby boy into the family and I was there to witness their AMAZING home birth.  with their first bambino just recently celebrating his second birthday I wanted to take them on a trip down memory lane.  Thank you “S” family from the bottom of my heart!  Trey’s newborn session was SUCH a great experience and hands down, it gave me the confidence that I needed when I was thinking of turning this hobby of mine into a career!  Still some of my all time FAVES.

Okay people, this is why I love this girl!  She is fearless!  Now don’t go judging, this shot was a done as a gift to her hubby whom completely gets her style and humor.  When she pitched me this idea my jaw dropped as I gasped {under my breath of course}.  I was truly petrified at this shoot, not only because guns of any kind scare the bejeezus out of me but also I thought “how the heck am I gonna pull this off?”  Well I actually LOVE how this turned out for them… maybe not the maternity shot to try and sell the rest of my clients, but for them – I love it!  And for those of you that know this family – I am sure you got a kick out of it when it showed up on her facebook page:)  Way to rock those 5 inch heals mama!

A few short weeks later I was there for the home birth of baby #2.  I must admit, I was TERRIFIED {hopefully it didn’t show}  I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I am so glad I was there to experience a true miracle!  I was able to get there right in time.  When I left to go home I felt like I had drank about 60 red bulls – what an experience!  I can’t even begin to express the courage, love and determination of this entire family to make this happen ~ especially you mama!  whew!  I get butterflies again just thinking about it.

Then a few days later I returned to meet little “B” again for his newborn session.  What a handsome fella he was, and boy does he look like his big brother!

Happy 6 months to you little “B”  and a big happy 2nd Birthday to you “T”.

Again… these are posted in no particular order except to say they are from last year and waaaaay past due their blog life ~ by I’m goin for it!.  I love them all {and their owners} and wish I had blogged them a loooooong time ago!  But I’ll catch up, besides I have some REALLY fun vacation pics to show off once I’m caught up.  Enjoy!

Whew!  sheesh, that was only two sessions? ~ ok, more coming tomorrow:)

So of course it’s been ages since my last post and I keep telling myself, “self, this will be the week I start posting every week”.  I literally have DOZENS of sessions to post and sadly I was looking through my BIG file of photos I’d like to post, but haven’t quite gotten to yet, and just realized it’s been OVER ONE YEAR for a couple of them!!!!  WHAT?!?!?  That is unacceptable!  I’m fired!  And the really sad part is that I probably wouldn’t have even noticed it, but this past weekend I just took one of my newborn baby clients ONE YEAR photos.  Akkkkk!

Having said that, I have given myself 20 lashings and a few hail Mary’s for my sins and I am ready to get going on 1 of what will probably end up as a 3-4 part MONSTER blog post.  Now I would love to write about each of these sessions because they are all so different and fun and ALL of my clients have truly been DA BEST, but really you just want to see the pics right?  Well here goes…

I can not get enough of this boy!

This is my Hallebear’s BFF “E”.  She and her family were sooooooo fun to photograph this afternoon!  I have tons to share, but after our locations allergy ridden foliage, I’m sure everyone’s eyes are about to POP!  So, I must get my beauty sleep and let my bloodshot eyes recover:)  Thanks for such a fun shoot guys ~ oh, and you make GORGEOUS kiddos by the way!

Well it is hard to believe that this beauty was just 3 years old when I first met her ~ and now 15!!!! Meet my niece/babysitter/athlete extraordinaire brand spanking new FIFTEEN year old Samantha.  Happy Birthday and for goodness sake, put your phone down for two seconds today and enjoy it
