Wow!  I was just going through some pics I haven’t blogged… {like 1000 pics} and came across this one.  I will have to get my butt in gear and blog a BUNCH before my belly POPS, but in the meanwhile, here’s one I love

This session was so much fun…  I just wish I wasn’t chubbier than my maternity clients while trying to shoot the sessions:)  If you’ve ever seen me shoot, you’d see that I’m  usually a bit of a spazz, but with my growing belly it must REALLY look funny!  This hotsie totsie mama is due the same week as me and she looks smokin!  They had some great ideas and I love how they turned out!

So a couple weeks ago I was lucky enough to join a few photog friends of mine on a very fun and creative maternity shoot put together by the fab Sarah Goodman for a maternity shoot of another fab photographer and prego Bridgette Marie.  So it was a fabulous morning, nice and cool, light was gorgeous {early morning light is to die for!} and our subject was stunning!  Everything was going great , until…

So yes, I fell!  Not just a little, but pretty hard!  I kinda laughed it off at the time as I gradually turned a shade to match my shirt, but when I got home, I realized I had a bruise the size of California on my tukis!  If it weren’t covering my whole A*$#! I would have posted a pic, but that would have been borderline x-rated and nobody wants to see that:)  Anyway, I have always wanted to know what I look like when I shoot ~ well, there ya go!   My booty and my pride have recovered enough now to show off the finished product and I really do love them!  Bridgette was absolutely beautiful and Sarah’s idea was excellent!  Thanks for having me along, I hope my comic genius livened up the morning a little!

And yeah, I know… It’s so not fair to look this good pregnant!

This little fella is very near and dear to my heart!  His mama and him were two of my very first clients and I have been lucky enough to see their family grow both in age and in numbers!  Just this past year, they were blessed in welcoming their second baby boy into the family and I was there to witness their AMAZING home birth.  with their first bambino just recently celebrating his second birthday I wanted to take them on a trip down memory lane.  Thank you “S” family from the bottom of my heart!  Trey’s newborn session was SUCH a great experience and hands down, it gave me the confidence that I needed when I was thinking of turning this hobby of mine into a career!  Still some of my all time FAVES.

Okay people, this is why I love this girl!  She is fearless!  Now don’t go judging, this shot was a done as a gift to her hubby whom completely gets her style and humor.  When she pitched me this idea my jaw dropped as I gasped {under my breath of course}.  I was truly petrified at this shoot, not only because guns of any kind scare the bejeezus out of me but also I thought “how the heck am I gonna pull this off?”  Well I actually LOVE how this turned out for them… maybe not the maternity shot to try and sell the rest of my clients, but for them – I love it!  And for those of you that know this family – I am sure you got a kick out of it when it showed up on her facebook page:)  Way to rock those 5 inch heals mama!

A few short weeks later I was there for the home birth of baby #2.  I must admit, I was TERRIFIED {hopefully it didn’t show}  I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I am so glad I was there to experience a true miracle!  I was able to get there right in time.  When I left to go home I felt like I had drank about 60 red bulls – what an experience!  I can’t even begin to express the courage, love and determination of this entire family to make this happen ~ especially you mama!  whew!  I get butterflies again just thinking about it.

Then a few days later I returned to meet little “B” again for his newborn session.  What a handsome fella he was, and boy does he look like his big brother!

“Give baby brother a kiss”  What?!?!

Awhhhh!  ”I luv my baby bruder”

Happy 6 months to you little “B”  and a big happy 2nd Birthday to you “T”.

… and keep those babies coming:)

This little hottie made an appearance on my blog back when this session took place, but I had a few more that needed to see that light of day.

I’m sure little Teagan is not so little anymore and she’s just a GORGEOUS as mama ~ I can’t wait to see her again!!!

Whew! Lot’s to blog… where -O- where do I start???

I have had the pleasure to work with so many FANTASTIC peeps lately… I have preggers, bebe’s, families & everything in between to share.  I even threw in a few of my gang for good measure!  Thank you ALL for being so wonderful, precious, patient, beautiful, funny, and fertile:)  Shhheesh, what was with all the babies this winter?  Keep em coming mamas!  I have soooo much more to share, the files are endless.  But this is a great start to the year huh?  Now… if I could only drag my floppy butt to the gym, we’d REALLY be on a roll huh?

It should be a outlawed to look like these HOT preggers, I looked like a Beluga Whale.

So it’s official ~ Bruce outweighed his big sis at the same age by a half a pound.  Six months and nearly 22lbs… that was 2 months ago! These are blackmailing months FO SHEEZY!  Um… and yeah, I just used that in a sentence for real!

This beautiful mama is weeks away from bringing home their second baby.  She was so calm and peaceful, I think this shot is perfect for her and her personality {and maybe even her little angel too}

And her little boy’s face below was just priceless ~ Such a fun kid!  It took him a while to warm up, but what a heartbreaker he will be!

My first complaint is… Why the heck can’t I look like this when I’m prego?

Thank you so much for being so patient and waiting WAAAAYYYY too long to see a sneak peek of your beautiful belly session “K”  I had a heck of a time trying to pick favorites ~ You are just too dang gorgeous!  I can’t wait to meet Teagan:)

I got a bit carried away with the storyboards, but I just wanted to cram them all in!  Have a great Labor day and look for your slideshow soon mama.

Meet one of my oldest and dearest friends “J”  She has been patiently awaiting the arrival of their  first baby, and I am dying to meet her too!!  She left the BEAUTIFUL Colorado weather to brave the unforgiving summer heat here in AZ in June to have her belly photos take ~God bless her pregger soul!  Well she was a super trooper, and they came out beautifully.  I love you “J” and I can’t wait to come to Denver for the big arrival!

And I can’t forget to add recent pic of my little guy:) He is 2 months ALREADY!!! What? I wish I could freeze time and he’d always be this cuddly and sweet. Poor guy got his first set of immunizations the other day and you’d have thought I hadn’t gone through it with my older two… I nearly cried as hard as he did:( But he pulled through and did great. Still not sure what color his eyes are ~ maybe the grey will still turn blue:)  Hey, a girl can dream right?  Happy 8 weeks “B”
