Note to self… scout locations VERY carefully when going out of state!!!  Really pretty spot though, I’d use it again  ~  Nope, didn’t learn my lesson:)

Welcome home baby Lindfors

It’s a BOY !!!!!!

Photobucket

And daddy was so exhausted, I caught him taking a little cat nap in the hospital.

Our newest little man is super handsome if I do say so myself… I just LOVE his little chin, and he is pretty impressed with himself as well.

Photobucket

It just amazes me to see what nearly 10 months of pregnancy is capable of producing.  Even more amazing is how darn fast it is all over and you blink your eyes and these tiny fingers and toes turn into big old hand and feet that belong to little people with minds and ideas of their very own.  I am definitely enjoying this itty bitty baby phase that is so priceless.

I had some of my lovely and talented photographer friends come and help me capture this super tiny phase of my little “B’s ” life and I love the little props that they brought!  I have many more from the session to share, just not enough computer time to share them yet.  Be on the lookout for more of my little monkey soon.

Photobucket

This next shot is the brainchild of another one of my super photog friends and I.  I got in touch with the original owner of this AMAZING vintage pram and I jumped at the opportunity and snatched it up.  In talking with a good friend of mine that was going to help me take some pics of my little guy, she came up with the perfect location for our idea, and Viola!  Of course I love everything about this photo, especially the subject:)  But another thing that I love about this is the sense of history that this stroller has.  I could feel the connection that it’s owner had with it and the reluctance to selling such a great piece that has been in the family for so long and seen and strolled so many babies.  I can’t wait to stroll my little man around in this old gem and I hope to keep all the great  memories coming.  I am just positive that you will be seeing a lot more of it in the future.

A big thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart for helping our family with everything from photos to dinners and everything in between!  We are truly blessed with amazing family and friends and I just don’t know what we’d do without each and every one of you!

Last weekend I met up with a photographer friend of mine to have some photo fun with her brand new twin boys, and were they ever sweet!  She’s a pro, not only at photography, but as professional Mama too, this is her SECOND set of twins!  ”Say WHAT???”  Her girls just turned 3, how fun is that!?!  Anyway, the spotlight was on these guys and they were such good boys, not to mention handsome. Take a peek…

Holiday Surprise!

December 12th, 2008 , Posted in newborn | Comments (2)

What an amazing Christmas miracle, this little sweetheart was born a full 4 weeks early and came home healthy as ever! She must have just been so darn excited to spend her first Christmas with everyone. Who wants to be cooped up in a belly, when you could be joining in all the festivities on the outside? Anyway little “A” was cute as a button and so ready for her session, that she hardly slept a wink:) We were able to get some of my favorites EVER though and here she is in her photo debut – Little miss “A”

Hello, I’m still alive! I have been having the best season and it’s coming to a close very soon, but I just couldn’t go one more day without posting some of the fun that I’ve been having.  So sit back, relax, grab a snack, maybe a cocktail and take a peek at what I’ve been so busy with.

Whew! Thanks for hangin’ in there for the mother of all posts. I am sooooo incredibly lucky and fortunate to have met all the lovely babies, children, pets and families that I had the pleasure of working with with season. Thank you all for making my year so wonderful by closing up the season on such a great note. I hope you are all enjoying your holiday cards which I can’t wait for you to send out and I hope to see you all in front of my camera again very soon! Have a great Thanksgiving and I am officially going to promise to be a better blogger. So I am going to rest up and get ready for my big debut as a cook. I am in charge of cooking one of the 2 turkeys for our family’s feast tomorrow and I’m praying that mine doesn’t resemble the Turkey from the movie Christmas Vacation when Clark Griswold begins to carve the beautiful bird just as it bursts open and steam fills the air with the charred remains of the holiday turkey. Lets all keep our fingers crossed!

The sweetest preemie EVER!

October 21st, 2008 , Posted in newborn | Comments (5)

Allow me to introduce sweet baby “M”. At 8 weeks old she is hardly a newborn anymore, but let’s give her a break, coming home at under 4 pounds she had to plump up for her big photo debut:) you’d never know it by looking at her now that she was born nearly 6 weeks early, she is absolutely beautiful and thriving.
Photobucket

I love how babies are always comforted by the arms of their mothers. We even got a little smile out of her.
Photobucket

There are definitely advantages to taking newborn photos within the first few weeks, their willingness to sleep, sleep, sleep, their tiny pliable bodies that love to be curled into a little ball, capturing the utter newness of ever wrinkle and expression. But in our case, baby “M” was an excellent subject and too gorgeous for words, and the best part was that at a mature 8 weeks old she was showing off her precious little smile that most newbies save for those later weeks.
Photobucket

Congratulations “W” family, she is just precious!
